Default time to throw in the towel

ok i have an 01 fwd a4 1.8t. so far i have chip and dv, and soon getting exhaust. i had plans to maybe ko4 my car or maybe go for one of the eliminator turbo's but my car has 92k miles on it and im worried that it will really start to go downhill if i do. is it time to throw in the towel and baby my car rather than turbo upgrade. or should i be fine for a while?

Do it, if you blow it up, you then have a reason to rebuild, and go bigger and better. 93K isn't much for cars nowadays. If it were mine I'd upgrade it. Hell, I ran a 75 Shot on my 95 integra with 140K on the original engine, and it didn't burn a drop of oil after 20+ bottles. I know its not the same as an Audi, but if you do it right, you won't have anything to worry about.

instead of over modding consider beefing the engine up a little to take the pounding your giving it ( internals mate ) then carry on modding
