Default Timing Belt and Tensioner?

Hello all. First off im new here and new to audis (so please dont flame be for being a newb im still learning). After purchasing a 1998 Audi 1.8T I did a lot research and found that the one major problem of these cars are the timing belt breaking and causing castrophic engine damage. My question for anyone that can help is where do I buy the new and improved equipment and what EXACTLY do I need to get to prevent spending more in engine damage than the car is worth?

While searching ebay I found this powerseller that lives 5-10 minutes from me in the next town over FCPGrotonLLC you can click on the link shown to be directed to his page. Does this guy have what I need to buy to fix this problem? I can do all the work myself with the help of a few friends that are all certified mechanics and have done work like this before so the labor will be cheap. Can I go through this ebay seller or is there a better place to go through?

Anything else I should get for my car right off the bat to increase performance and handling? Im looking to really make this car a looker on the streets with out making it look like a ricer...dont want that all. Just wanna be able to make it go fast and handle great.

Thanks in advance,

Joey T.

I got a complete front control arm set from them - best price and good Geman parts/quality. I'm not sure what else they have, but ECS Tuning, Dieslegeek.com, 034Motorsport pretty much all have the complete timing belt/wp kits. I got the ECS Ultimate kit with G12 coolant included and free shipping - installed it all this weekend and good to go.
