hi audi forum , i recived an 2001 a4 with 5 valve per cylinder the machanic that had it did a head gasket replcement . and could not get it started , now ive got it and the first thing i looked at was the timing and according the manuel it was off by one tooth so i rest it on the money , but all i got was a back fire as i look at the cams i notice that the intake lubes were at the point off opening when the crank was up and upon rotating the crank right after the exhaust valves wher opening my question is there any way the other mech. could have removed the cam sprockets and missed align one ,or do they have keyways i tried putting the lubes opposite of each outher and now i got some more of and explosion but no start im up to my neck on this need some help . anyone that has has someone elses problem . that can help
