I would go with 30% if that is allowed in your state. I have the 2005.5 black A4 with 30% tints. I think 35% is too light. Go with 30%. Not too dark, nor too light. Good luck.

Any suggestions for a 99.5 silver a4? I was just thinking about getting my windows tinted today actually (then noticed this post), but i don't anything about it. It is so freakin hot and sunny where i moved though, i think i need to get it done for that reason alone.... any ideas guys?

Well you may want to keep in mind your state laws on tinting. 35% looks great on all colors/interiors. It's right in the middle of the road. It's not too dark and not too light.

thank you much admin..... have a few other questions that maybe someone would feel like helping me with.... rather than just pretending to know what i'm talking about in respect to altering my car, i'll just admit that i know about 5% of the majority of those here, suck it up and just ask for some help

i have a 1.8T silver a4. It's a 99.5, in pretty excellent shape, but it's just now starting to look like it could use some improvements and updating.... what are some simple things i can have changed that will keep my car looking nice without spending a ton of money, so that for the next 2 years i'll still go out to it every morning with a smile on my face.....

i plan on selling it in about two years bc i have my eye on the new 2.0T's but i want it to remain classy, like me lol. So nothing out of control or crazy looking, just some nice finishing touches to keep it looking it's best

if no one feels like answering, it's no big deal.. i know i'm asking a lot, but thought maybe someone out there would feel like they were accomplishing something by giving me advice

and unlike a lot of girls, i won't try to tell you that you're wrong or that i know better, because in this case i don't.... is that enough of an incentive? lol Thanks Guys!

I have a Black B6 and have also decided to go with 35% tint all around. Cops are pretty strict about window tint here and a friend of mine who has 20% all around has been pulled over 3 times in the last week for his tint. Legal limit is 50% up front in Iowa and i believe its 5 in the back 2 and back windshield. Only problem with that is that i can't stand different tint percentages on the front and back windows, its gotta be the same for me i think it looks MUCH cleaner. Anyone else have problems with 5-0's and their tint?

P.S. Make sure the place your getting your tint done at has a lifetime warantee on it their tint. If not its really not worth it, you dont want to risk your tint turning purple, bubbling or peeling.
