if you bring a picture/receipts showing the tint and front plate are gone, the judge will usually either throw the ticket out or reduce the fine. all depends on how strict they are.

hopefully you have a pic of your car before you put the tint on so you can just show him that, and just get a guy who works at a tinting place to sign off on a receipt saying they took it off and you should be ok.

i got fined for EACH window. 300 in tint tickets[:@] cops in Boca are gay as fvck

The most genius way to get out of a getting a tint ticket is by going to the eye doctor and telling him your eyes are sensative to sunlight and you need a tint prescription. Three of my buddies have limo tint all around the car except the windshield when they get pulled over they just show the cop the tint prescription and they are off the hook, some doctors will just right the eye prescription up without even testing your eyes so I guess it depends on where you go and if you get a ticket with the prescripton you can easily win in court. But in your case you already got the ticket so your screwed.

So if I have MA plates, will I still get a ticket for tint if I'm driving in RI?
I think 35% is legal in Mass, right?

70% is the legal limit where you live and you went and got 20, i dont need to say bad call. I was gonna say just pay the fines and not get it removed, because you would have to pay for removal anyway and end up out whatever you paid to get it tinted.. but might as well get it removed cause you'll just keep getting tickets.

If you know tints are illegal, then why do you tint you're windows? I personally don't want any unwanted attention from cops, and that's why I have a front plate and no tints. In short, you are going to have to pay some sort of fine/reduced fine if you fix the things and provide proof. If you don't, you will most likely be in the same situation again, and again, and again.

If your car is legally registered in one state, (i.e. Massachusetts) then they can't enforce Rhode Island vehicle codes on it. That's federal laws protecting you there, even though a lot of local cops don't seem to know that. If they do write a ticket for your out-of-state car, you will always have it thrown out because they would just be begging for a lawsuit.

I don't agree with that. If you law is 70 and you have 20, then you didn't do anything wrong. Except for the stupid front plate (do euros count for front plates?). I say leave it up.
