hey everyone

i got a 98 a4 1.8tT but its a tiptronic. and the shifting gate from D to tip mode broke about 9 months ago so hard left turns it would just fall into tip mode without me knowing. But the issue is now the tip mode is gone, like when i switch from D to tip its still in D Tip is gone. I was reading other threads saying some magnets get loose and are misplaced. i have my whole center console removed down to the shifting plate and even opened it up but didn't see any magnets can someone please give me some info where i should be looking. thanks also how to get the bloody shifting **** off so i can actual get a good look at it. thanks in advance.
