Tire Pressure Sticker Clarification
I have a 99 A4 1.8T Quattro, with stock tires. I was reading the tire pressure sticker inside the fuel door and am a little confused about what it says. I searched the forum and found nothing on this. I was wondering if someone can help to clarify it.
The sticker has the following info:
Front
Bar psi kPa
2.1 32 210
2.8 42 280
Rear
Bar psi kPa
2.1 32 210
2.9 42 290
I know what psi is. But what is Bar and kPa and why are the numbers from the front a little different than the rear?
Thank you in advance for any input.

RE: Tire Pressure Sticker Clarification
Cmon now, their just different measurements.
Like Yards vs. Meters.
Just use the PSI rating that you should be used to.
They are min and max ratings. If I were you, I would run about 37-38 PSI all around.

RE: Tire Pressure Sticker Clarification
Pardon my ignorance but I actually had not heard of the bar and kPa measurement units. I've always dealt with psi units in the past. But now I know they're all just measuring the same thing.
Thanks for the replies guys.
