so the stock size for my car is 205/55-16....i have s4 wheels on there with 235/40-17s...i'll be getting new tires for the 17s this spring, what size tire should i get? i want to stick with a 235, but i'm thinking a 45 sidewall rather than 40.

EDIT: also, does anyone have an opinion on the kumho ecsta ASXs? i'm looking for a good all season tire

I despise Kuhmo... You probably hear me recommend the Avon Tech M550 A/S all the time. Give them a whirl.

 

comparing a bunch of different tires on tirerack, looks like the avon techs are the way to go..thanks chris!
