only other tools i've had to buy was a torx set, everything else is your basic tools. just make sure to not skimp and get cheapo tools, they make all the difference in the world. get some with a lifetime warranty. maybe splurge and get some airtools

or you can just explain the mpg benefits (which you wont see most the time) of the chip. then jus tell her it makes the car run better and more reliable (a lie, but what momma dont know won't hurt her)

I'm jokin about the cost but the chip alone isn't a good idea without supporting mods such as DV and BG. If you drive harder and more often having fun with all that boost you will have to change your oil and brakes sooner. The tires will wear faster 2. It's not just the initial cost of the chip,especially if you plan on spanking it around.

trust me i tried everything to get the chip. i said it does everything from improve the mpg, to tune the abs system, i came up with so much b.s. about the chip and they still wont let it fly. and dont worry i have a job, i pay for my car and my insurance and icommute to school so i really dont have enuf time to work and save up money thats y i was askin my rents for the chip. im probably gunna get a ratchet set from snap on or something cause i still have the connection from when i worked at a body shop. what are the real names for those screwdrivers that have the star shaped head? i wanna get a set of those too. and cincy i would do the diode cause i read the entire thing and was gunna do it befor i read that the car has to be a '00 or '01 or something, my cars a 99 even tho thats not wut it says in my name.
