Default tranny/clutch issue help

two days ago i was driving home, after working on my boost leak issue, i shifted from 2nd to 3rd and when i released the clutch the engine just rev'd and didnt go anywhere. i pulled over and tried all gears and nothing, the clutch isnt engaging. when i push the clutch in it sounds like metal on metal, my friend thinks it can either be the throwout bearing or the clutch fork. i didnt really hear any noises or feel any jerks when it happened.

anybody have an idea on how much it might be to get this looked at, or maybe anything else that could be an issue?

In any case your going to have to pull the trans and find the broken part. My bets on a broken pressure plate spring.
