anyone else ever had this problem? dont know how it started, car has been sitting for a month or so, i didnt notice it before, dont know when it happened, but i went out to grab something out of the trunk and go to close it and it doesnt latch


i dont think its been broken into because i had a sub, 2 amps, and a paintball gun in the back and they are still there, doesnt appear to be tampered with

anyone else had this happen to them? does it need to be cleaned? new latch? any ideas?

 

The latches always malfunction, its electronic, what happens is the switch shorts out all the time.
When you slam down the trunk it bounces back up right?
Just replace the latch, not the striker.
