Does anybody know where I can get a diagram of the trunk latch assembly for a 2002 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro? I can't get my trunk open with the key, the control inside, or the handle. It happened all of a sudden. I pulled the trunk panel off andthe components move but I saw that the mechanism wasn't pulling far enough to open the latch. Am I SOL or can it be fixed by an amateur like me?

 

Just replace the trunk latch, they go bad quite often. Take out the two 10mm nuts and pull down the latch, un-clip the two cables and take it out.
