I have a new 2007 a4 3.2. The trunk light works on and off( mostly works when I take it to dealer to show them it doesn't). There is no power coming into the light assembly when it doesn't work. Locking and unlocking trunk does not change it from working vs not working. Strangely, when it is not working, if I drive the car and change the headlight switch, it sometimes makes the light work correctly( ie , when I open the trunk). The light always goes off when I close the trunk I have read that this could be the micro switch? Any thoughts. The dealer doesn't want to fix something he can not see.
