Default Trunk Release not working (just changed battery)

I recently changed the Battery on my Audi A4 1.8T 2002 car and after doing so the trunk release stopped working. The fuse seems fine and the alarm which works off the same fuse also works. Any ideas what I need to do to get working again? I can only open the trunk with the key now and not the trunk handle or button the remote. mail.,co

dont worry its a common thing, just give it some time and the featurs will come back
it took the ECU like 2 days for all my settings to come back

It's been four days and so far no luck on the trunk release working. Any thoughts?
