A4-2.8 AWD Trunk button quit working-any advice???

Year please.

Engine size and drivetrain doesn't affect whether or not your trunk button works or not

ur talking bout the keyhole button thingy on the trunk right? it's a mechanical system so something most likely broke in there.

oh hawoops,its a 98 A4 that th etrunk wont open at all...

Did it randomly stop working, or has it never worked? I don't think the 98 A4's are supposed to have the remote-release trunks. Not even my 2000 A4 does that.
