$7 grand sounds about right with labor and them adding more profit for buying the parts needed. the gt2x would be a manageable DIY for anyone with some basic mechanical skills. The only hard part is getting the cat off but some have posted nice solutions. You can take the gt2x in steps unlike the other turbo kits. I hate promoting the elims, but the gt2x is better than a ko4 and better to drive than a gtrs/71r setup.
So you think the harded part of to the gt2x would be getting the cat off...haha because i just did that this weekend and put a TP in its place ..but how much do you think i would spend if i went gt2x w/ a fmic and bigger exhaust manifold...or would i even need the exhaust manifold?

Pass on the gt28r. Its not DBB even though its a gt turbo. Might aswell go t3 60trim since the cost is the same (if not less)and it flows the same as a gt28rs with the same basic spool.
Im too lazy to search..how much would the t3 60trim be w/ labor and fmic and everything?

what FMIC you gonna use? custom from ebay, or a $900 that fits our car.

t3 60 trim is $625, 3-4 hours of labor, FMIC $200-900, 2-3 hours of labor, high flow manifold $325.

cost should be the same and less if you bring in the parts. power would be about 20-30 more hp/tq

if you put in a test pipe you can install a gt2x.

gt2x-1200
injectors-200
fmic- 300 if DIY
tuning- 700
exhaust manifold- 400 (you dont NEED this but u really want it)

total- 2400-2800
