the turbo normaly gets redhot when you push it hard the question is wether it was hotter than normal. if you never noticed this before then you really have no point of reference...

you might loose power if the ECU freaked did you get a cel?

 

Flames coming otut he downpipe! Surely you've just split the exhaust!? You'll lose all your power with no exhaust on it, and turbos do glow red when you give it some beans.
