turbo upgrade

Default turbo upgrade

hi can any one help me I have a1995 a4 1.8t and the turbo is on its way out, I have been told that a ko4 turbo off a audi 225 tt will fit on with no modifications is this the case or is there more to it. thank you for any help cheers andy

no, you were misinformed. Its a ko4-15 and its smaller than the 225 TT ko4-20. You can pick up a newer ko3s for under $200 and its comparabale to a ko4

and u mean you have a 96 a4, there was no 95.

He may not be in North America. Model years are not the same everywhere.

I'm pretty sure the housings on the TT turbo is also different, meaning that they won't bolt up correctly and the compressor outlet won't connect to the piping in the stock location.
