I've owned the car for a week and half and its driving me nuts! I got my windows tinted and the guy did a shitty job! left some bubbles and aparently thers some specks of metal on the window so the tint feels rough! Now I got these two problems

1. I put a cone filter on my mass air flow and took out the box. Now my mass air flow meter wont work! The car bucks and when I disconnect the air flow meter it the bucking stops. Has anyone had this problem before?

2. When I turn on my cd changer to hear a cd, it will play for a little while then everything will turn off! Completly dead, cant get it to turn back on. This happened last time and it turned back on the next day. I hope it turns on tomorrow but what could be causing this?

as far as the window tint goes, take it back and demand that he re-do it. if you're not satisfied, the job isn't done.

if the car runs better with the MAF disconnected, that suggests you have a bad MAF. not sure if it has anything to do with your cone filter or not.

 

dude, tints always look horribe on the first week you have to let it wait for it to dry and suck the air itself, then i have similar cd problem...my cd player turns on and there is no sound and few minutes later it sound comes...i want to take it to the dealer...and third, never mess with audi's mass airflow sensor...it sounds like you might need a new sensor..i suggest you put back the originals and see how the car reacts...

 

Thanks guys, I like the way the car looks with tints, I'm gonna give it a couple more days then take it back if it doesnt fix itself.

Make sure the Maf is facing the right direction...
