Default UGH...new noise

So I changed my spark plugs and both of my headlights today and for some reason after I restarted my car, the turbo is now spooling so much louder than before. I can hear it pull hard from about 2500-3500 rpms or so. The strange part is that it doesn't do it at idle or when I drive normally, only when I push it. I got a GIAC chip about a week ago and I put a 710N on. Oh yeah and to replace the passenger side headlight, I had to remove some of the intake housing so I thought that could have something to do with it but I checked it and couldn't find a leak. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, I've got a 98.5...

First of all, thanks for replying...at this point anything will do (I've been hitting refresh all night long b/c I'm at work). Anyway, the 710 is the DV off of the TT. I see you have a nicer one, so I guess you wouldn't want mine .

I've been thinking about it all night and it has to be something with my intake housing. I just hope it's not turbo related. I'm gonna spend tomorrow looking for it and instaling my snub mount [sm=bling.gif] and maybe my boost guage but I'll have to fabricate a mount for it if I decide to.

No, I'm actually not sure at all that it's the turbo. Since I was messing around with the intake, I'm thinking that it's probably what I hear. I'm going to try to figure it out tomorrow.

You down on power... or boost (if you have a boost guage...) cause you could very well have a boost leak. Shortly after chipping, small leaks can become big ones. Get your boost checked... you should definately be 10 - 12 PSI with a GIAC chip.
