has anyone on hear had any expierience with an upsolute chip? they are very well known in the jetta tdi world... very well rated, and very reliable on the little tdi's.

they seem to make about the same power as giac/awe but $30 less...

they dont have our 170hp b6 engine and all this are the same but each have different problems
APR had the starting probplem
revo got the surging

would the 180hp chip work on your 170??

why is vw 180hp and audi 170hp on the newest version of the 1.8t... i dont get that.....

hehe, ya..pretty much mainer..I haven't heard anyone on here running that chip. Other than the orientation, I don't know what else is different about the VW engine, kinda curious cuz I'm slightly interested in the Carb CAI for my ride but the manufacturer only indicates use on VW 1.8T. Not sayin that its a bad chip, but I'd go with a GIAC. They seem to be flawless..only problem I've heard of was brkbeats had his seated wrong..which was no fault of the chip.
