Sorry. There are atleast twice as many people using a 004 now than any type of bov a year ago on here. Im sure its more than that, but still. People are finally breaking the bad myths.

i know. i was almost scared to put 004 in my sig six months ago. but not much negative feedback on the forge 004 setup these days. i know i am happy.

I think you do. Im kind of confussed looking at your setup. I just installed my Splitter in my bother's 03 passat yesterday and it looks a little differnt than that. Not sure why since its the same setup. Might just be the angles of the pics.
Your 004 should be where that clamp on the bottom,wherethe T peice is. The plug should then go to the line going to the intake.

I pm a question and asked in this diagram what hose do I plug.. 1 or 2? I plugged 2 and hooked the BOV into 1. It ran fine and the sound was great. I thought all was swell.
I thought I was suppose to plug 2 b/c in the picture below in the DIY he has pulled the hose all the way up to the top of the engine bay and plugged it. Looking at the diagram with the #'s in it how on earth could you pull hose #1 up to the top of the engine bay and plug it when its like 2inchs long??

You have it right. the passat didnt have the res on it. Dont know the point of it unless its to keep you from "overboosting". You have any other pics of that res? If thats the only line to it, block that off aswell or just flat out remove it

This picture is from the DIY section notice how the BOV is positioned....
Now in this image you can see my BOV is vertical in position, leading me to suspect I plugged the wrong hose... I think I need to switch them?? any suggestions. I need to get this right so I can take my car into audi and clear my check engine light

That person doesnt have the res either from the looks of it. Plus you can get rid of the cel by undoing the battery for about 10mins.
