Used 2002 - what to look for?
Just sold my beloved Acura CL-S and moved from Oregon to Panama. A woman is selling her 2002 Audi A4 for $14,000 with 30k miles on it (49k km). Panama is a small country and most of the used cars are low mileage. The dealer who serviced the car says he thinks it needs new motor mounts but needs to do a full inspection to be sure. Is that common for this car?
What else should I be looking for? Consumer Reports mentions the wiring harness at the A-pillar getting wet. It really rains here in Panama - is the wiring harness an issue?
I love the luxury and the drive and the CVT. Appreciate any help you can offer - have never owned an Audi.

Also look for a solid warranty. I am selling my '02 as a Certified Pre-Owned on the For Sale forum on this site, and you basically have a new-car type warranty until mid-2008 or 100k miles. That is pretty rare to find an '02 being sold that happens to have the CPO. Maybe I am biased, but I would strongly lean toward one with warranty than one without.
Since the car you are looking at has less than 50k, at least it will have the warranty to 50k though.
