Ok, So I know I have a vacuum leak because when I am idleing I am at 11hg. I have read that you need to be somewhere around 20Hg correct? Anyways, I have tried searching (I typed in "finding vacuum leaks"; "vacuum leaks") And did not find what I was looking for so if this is a repost please don't flame just give me a link or shut your...fingers. IDK what that was sorry. LOL

Anyways my question is, how do i go about finding a vacuum leak? What do you guys normally do? Thanks

Carb Cleaner why because it burns like fuel so when you spray it on your vacume lines when you find your leak your idle will raise because more fuel is being sucked into the maifold.

 

alot of the time they are both visible and audible, pop your hood and start pulling your vac lines....gl!

Well Josh after installing my boost guage I def don't have a vac leak, my vac at idle is anywhere from 19-25. However I def could have a boost leak. I need to completely finish up my isntall today and then take a vid of my gauge and see what people think, if I have one or not.

Start from the boost gauge and go towards the engine. After i installed my boost gauge i had -15 vacuum and after searching realised it was my vacuum line going to the gaugethat was pinched.
