I just installed an aftermarket head unit into my 2004 A4.

I have the antenna adapter from Crutchfield, but I get very little FM reception and absolutly no AM reception. Also I could not get the rear speakers working. Any one have ideas?

I live in Southern CT and drive along I-95 in the morning and I got maybe 2 FM stations along the way. Before I took out the factory head unit I got stations from NY City. What does the second antenna adapter out of the stock head unit do? Is there anyway to hook it up to an aftermarket head unit? How do I get my radio stations back?

Yeesh... sorry I would have no idea on that one. You may want to drop by an audio shop and have them take a look at it. Good luck.
