Default Video- Boost leak? I think so...

A vid I took of my boost gauge tonight, I am not even boosting where I should be, much less holding! Well I will upgrade my DV and then get a MBC and then it will be all better maybe...

Looks like you got a leaky valve. It is releasing some pressure during boost. Also a mbc will allow you it get on the boost sooner and hold it longer.

ya, i think you have a little leak. My boost drops about the same, but a local repair place said that I have no boost leaks whaat so ever. So, I want a second opinion.

It could be our turbos dying from oldness. I have 117,000 on the stock turbo

hey, cincyTT, what valves are you taking about that can be leaky???

I just got my chip not that long ago... and yeah the DV is next on the list. I think I am just going to get a 710N though, no need for me to drop 100+ bucks on one when I know I am not going to go much further with this car.

No, that is what i did, thinking ill save some $ and those didn't work for me.

they had the same affect as the stock dv. maybe i got a bad one or something, but i would not do that if i was you . just spend the extra money and have the confidence that your dv will not fail

I have heard that the upgraded 710N DV is all you need if you just have a chip. It will handle the boost just fine...

cincyTT, flip it? Please explain!
