I've changed the bulbs in my fogs, and it's a pain in the *** man! I'm sure it's possible, but I can't see it being an easy job, at least nowhere near as easy as the headlights were. having said all that though, I think I'll still do it because I hate how yellow my fogs look now compared to my headlights. and to think that I thought my silverstar fogs were pretty white back when I had halogen headlights.[&o]

Thats fora B6 or B7^
B5's has narrower lower grill insterts and I dont think it would be as quick and easy. The bumper comes off in 10 mins at most. Just 2 clips on the sides and a couple allen screws on the front. Oh and 1 minute to disconnect the headlight washer hoses if you have that. Im only suggesting this since the majority, if not allof the people in this thread who ordered them have a B5.
its much easier if you remove the headlights to mount the ballast. i wanted to mount it under the headlights but its not a perfect fit and you would have to drill off a lil bit of plastic under the headlight to make it fit. i dont have the tools for that so under where the headlight sits, theres this black piece that i velcro and then zip tie it to.
also, i didnt get any problems with mines on my 2000 a4. i like driving at night now lol .. it took about a week or week and half from china to florida.
heres a link with pics on someone mounting the ballast under the headlights

Great link too, I never saw that. I would use some sealant on the inside of that rubber seal to REALLY keep moisture out though.
Actually, this is probably how Ill do it: http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2653374.phtml
I just ziptied mine to anything I could find in the engine bay - now that you guys posted these links I might just remount them unter the headlight.
and kind of off-topic but - I love how in the link above that op8t posted the guy now has an 05 TL and it looks really similar to a b5 audi

Cant stand the way TL's look, but in that picture they are similar, sort of
I just dont want to clutter up my engine bay with stuff that doesnt look like its supposed to be there, so Ill mount them under the headlight too.

just got mine actually. took 6 business days. i guess 5 if you take out labor day. just a quick questions, do you guys run your high beams as well with the kit or just the projectors? just wondering cause from what i see in the kit, doesnt look like you can do it.
You can only run the projectors - the high beams are on a separate bulb entirely and are physically separated from the projectors. You could get another kit for the high beams if you wanted to but one kit will only run one set of lights - low, high, or fog.
