Default wanting a chip except the voiding of warranty..

well i really want a chip, i mean really. i know they void your warranty and thats not what i want. will it void everything taht is covered or just engine problems? but what i really was going to ask is that is there any way from apr or giac taht i can get some sort of program that can switch my chip to stock so the ppls at audi wont screw everything up or is that impossible? if it is then i dont care spending a little extra money to do so, i just want a chip. some help would be great.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

You must be a newbie here so I'd like to point out the search button at the top, and that both APR and GIAC have internet sites that can answer your questions.

well david, i did my homework and i found out some very useful info. i think i get one i will go apr. the only way they coud really find out is if they opened up the ecu and if they test drove it. im not worried about the physicallly looking for it compared to them driving it because if they did, then its a dead give away...i think.

Dude... Giac has the flashloader system. Does what you want. A little more money, but lets you flash it back without the dealer knowing. Best route for what you want. The fight over whether apr or giac is better has been discussed way too many times to count. A couple searches will get you millions of responses. I did it a lil while ago.

Heres the link http://giacusa.com/flashloader_handheld.php

I'd go with GIAC in this case.
