warming up
Driving with low revs as Jestnomen says is the best way, if you sit there from cold and idle to warm up, the lack of oil pressure will let the top parts of the engine run dry for a while. Driving off straight away taking it easy will build pressure.
Unless any of you drive in Saskatchewan in the winter, when the temperature is 30 or 40 below, there is no need to warm up the engine. It just wastes fuel and time. Of course if you live in the northern US, make sure you arent running 15W50 oil either.
