as far as sound QUALITY , i've got 2 words...
INFINITY KAPPA
dont expect a whole lotta low end out of the components(even the 6 1/2"'s) or even 6x9's, but the sound quality is by far the best i've ever heard.

Hay clconversion as you can see from the title I gave this post ,I stated waste of 9G's
And DJ crowe The Kappa's are kick *** I had them in a vw and they blew away the mb quarts I had in my bmw.

 

Thats what I run. Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.25" in front. Damn they sound fine. Infinity Perfect 10" Sub in the rear...
With some Hifonics in the rear doors for fill.

 

i have 2 audiobahn subs, audiobahn hcx1300 mono amp and audiobahn 1 frad cap. i have had this setup for 3+ years now and still sounds incredable. i did have some 3 way 's in the rear deck by audiobahn and sucked ***. they were powerd by an alpine 4 chanel amp along with my stock fronts. swiched the 3 ways with some BA's a few monts ago. now my system sound realy good for a bacic systen with stock deck.

i have enjoyed my audiobahn amp and subs for 3+ years at only a cost of $700 or so. over this time i have abused almost every day and still sound unbeleavable. howeva i would not buy any product from them scince they have become mainstream (can buy at circuit city crap) there quality has gone to ****.

do you get engion noise with the speaker wires running over your cap and 12v power lead.
If so you should move them.

 

actualy yes i do.

it had me dumbfounded. could not understand why i was geting interferance. have to move them to see if that works.

also you did not run your power and rca through the car together did you?
If so change that to and run rca on one side and power on the outher side.
