I've done a search on this, but couldn't find too much info;
Is it a common problem on the 1.8T for the wastegate actuator to fail?
Could this be the reason i'm loosing boost?
I've checked the vacum hoses and all the rest, but found nothing wrong there.
Any help would be great. Thanx

It is not common for the wastegate actuator to fail.
What makes you think you are loosing boost? Have you checked the boost pressures?
The most commont problems are boost leak due to a loose or broken line between the turbo and the throttle body or a bad diverter valve.
