Default water leak anyone? 1.8T 1999

anybody have a problem with a water leak in the passenger side? it soaks my carpet up when it rains and when I wash it, I pulled the carpet down and it comes from the very right corner, I put water by the fender/hood close to the windshield and it goes in but its not my windshield and the drain hole by the battery is not plugged.

you might wanna check the seal around the cabin air filter, and check your door seals. i have the same problem on my drivers side and i was told it might be the seal where the computer is

One of your sunroof drains is probably leaking.

I don't know A4's very well, so any help is appreciated.

It is also my problem now. A few weeks back I thought the little flood I passed cause all the water to go into my car. Bad enough to go to my auto transmission control unit and mess it up. By now I am sure I have now passed any flood, it just rained alot and now the carpet soaked in the rear passenger side again[&o]

I don't have a sunroof... I did open the other links to my leak search, I found out that there is a drain that is under the battery. I will check it tom, hope I find the leak before it messes up my tip transmission again.....

I've got the same problem. I've been in the market for an Air Compressor to try and clear the Sunroof drain. Haven't gotten a chance to try it all out yet, but it would be nice to know if that's all you have to do is just shoot some compressed air down there to clear out the drain. I would think that should do it.
