You have to code the new comfort control module so it knows what systems are equipped.

 

The hole under my battery was clogged with sludge. I have the same car as you. If you pull the battery, the drain hole has a rubber grommet with flaps on it. The flaps hold the dirt in. I just removed the grommet. When enough water filled the battery tray it overflowed into the cabin through the blower duct.....never saw it come through the drivers side though....just the passenger.

 

Sfwjesse you were lucky man i wish mine came in through the passengers side, I think i will trade the car once this is resolved if i do i will post the vin # so none of u guys are stuck with this headache in the future if anyone buys the car lol but anyway thats a maybe not sure i wanna see if these problems get resolved i will post the codes my car give me on sunday once my friend comes by with a vagcom.
