I do not have a sunroof, so that is not the cause. I am referring to what I have been told by my dealership..is that even 1 drop of water on the MMI controls will cause the system to stop working. These are the same controls that are right next to the cup holders.

This happened on my new Audi A6 - 6 months old. Spilt about a 1/4 teaspoon of OJ on the MMI control panel. Will cost about £750 to repair.

The question has to be - what idiot designs a car with a drinks holder next to an electronic panel and builds in zero protection agaqinst risk of spillage?
