weird light blinking

weird light blinking

i have an 97 a4 and wenever i turn or brake the light goes on keeps blinking. the color is red and its right above the gas light btw the gauges where all the check engine lights r.

Prolly the brake light... if it is happening when you turn -- check your brake fluid levels, I'd guess they were down.
