I have an a4 tdi from 96, just got new brakes and pads on front of car last week.

Everytime I brake whether from 5 mph or 50mph I get a clicking sound coming from the two front brake areas, its driving me mad!!!!

Took it back to the local kwik fit motor place and they put more new pads on and still same sound, they are stumped.

Does anyone have an idea what this might be before I have to take to VAG dealer.

maybe a spring or something that is loose so when u brake it clicks trying to engage it.

 

Do you feel it through the pedal at all or the car or is it just a noise & thats it?
