I have a 2000 A4 Avant. When braking, just before the car comes to a complete stop, I feel a pulse and sound similar to the one that happens when the ABS kicks in when skidding. In the past months I have replaced upper and lower control arms, cv joints, ball joints and rotors. Also the brake pads are only a couple months old and the Brake fluid level is at the Max line . My "Brake Pads Worn" light is on as well. Anyone have any idea's?

 

i would check the runout on your front brake discs

if they are over 0.002 (dont rember the specs exactly) you should do a resurfacing job on them
