Can anybody tell me why is the ignition sensor located on the air box and if I use CAI ,where should I put it ? Damn.







What's the purpose of this valve ?

 

I would leave the sensor right where it is but that is just because I wuldn't install a CAI.

That valve is the diverter valve. It works like a BOV but instead of venting the charge air to the atmosphere, it vents to the intake system. Reinstall it if you decide to go the CAI route. Don't ask why because you will start another week long debate about the advantages and disadvantages of DVs vs. BOVs. If you don't believe me, just do a search.

 

Look in the top left. that's what I did with mine :P
