What is the normal oil temp when driving in 80ºF heat? Not too much humidity...
What about 100ºF heat?

What about accelerating hard in the same temperature?

My oil is usually around 225º (even on nights when its about 70-80º outside)... When I accelerate hard (example, flooring it from 60-80mph) the temps will get up to 250º... Is this normal? I am getting a new oil cooler installed (car is at about 85,000 miles) so hopefully this will help out a bit... Right now I have 10w30 synthetic oil in it... I will be going to 0-40 Mobil1...

0W40 is the best but expensive because it covers all ranges, I would look at 5W30 semi-synth because it can be mixed if you need to top it off just as good if you change the oil and filter at 6k but a lot cheaper if you need a ltr to top up
