so if ur ac is always on it will always give u more hp?

 

no when ur ac is on ur clutch fan is enguaged, so using ur ac robs power.

 

the clutch fan would be the part u would be removing. then u would replace it with the electric fan so u would be removing unsprung weight allowing ur engine to have less restrictions.

 

so it would be a great mod to me b.c i live with my ac. So Cal gets hott!

 

The brackets won't fit your car.

They come with 4 little plastic things with holes in them.

I just bended a couple peices of metal, drilled some holes in it and bolted it up to my car.

I'll do this next week. I just gotta look and find where I can mount it.

The bigger you get the more CFM it can push/pull, I believe the 12" pulled and pushed around 1350 CFM max.

You'd also need to wire it up to a switch or the ignition or something else if you don't like to have to switch it on.

They're also pretty quiet. I couldn't hear it when I actually had the DP bolted up on that project car, well maybe a real light buzz.

 

Yeah i think I might do that to my car as well... i love keeping my engine cool!!
