Im with tom, i usually launch around 5500 (not that often) with no wheel spin, and it just throws you in the seat. With my 3071r turbo, theres some lag, so I try to keep the rpms as high as possible, and feather it a little bit. With a stock a4, i see no reason to launch that high.

 

on behalf of steve, his plans are to save up and do a full m3 engine overhaul and keep it a sleeper (at least not make it look like an m3)...of course im sure the temptation to slap an m3 rear diffuser/front bumper/mirrors will take over soon enough.

I think it would too but for now I'm spending cash on performance mods. M bumper with 3er sideskirts looks awesome though.
