Well, I've had my A4 1.8T QM for about 2 weeks now and I Love it. But want to make it Faster.

I've got about $500 that I can use to put into the car and was wondering whats the next thing i should get?

Currently the car has:
K-04 Turbo
Giac K04 Chip
Full Cat Back Milltek Exhaust



One thing to note is I want the car to be fast, mainly to keep up with my friends cars
1st One is an 02 WS6 Trans Am(He loves to rub it in my face)
2nd is a MkIV Toyota MR2 with a JDM Turbo Engine

I know that it'll take more to put into my car to Get it Up to the WS6, but whats a good place to start with?

 

ws6 runs what 14.0's stock. I dunno about anything else.

 

nothing for 500 is gonna help much. Maybe get some better software for the K04.

 

MY friend has a 01 WS6 Trans Am, always rubs it in my face that he has 320 ponies. All i say is that my 1.8 engine (detuned from factory) makes more than half of his ponies that his 5.7 engines makes. haha what a piece of **** underpowered car htat TA is.

it gets the smile off his face.

 

If 500 isnt enough, what do u recommend I do?

Save for what??

 

save another 700$ and upgrade to H&R coilovers.

 

Yea, I plan on upgrading the Suspension and Wheels in early spring next year(once it gets warmer)

 

yep suspension is the way to go!

 

and then take him to a race course and race him. He can go in a straight line fast but not very in corners (i know i had a mustang).

 

Save up for 2.8trans to get better ratios, then fmic and run pc16 or j31, you can run high 13s with both files when u done.

You always want to add little things u ussually dont think about. I have little stuff like bored/ported/polished mani, high flow cat,ss, a good dp, things like that.Do my diy intake too.
