The wheel SAGA continues
Ha Ha. Now this is just getting funny. I received a call a couple days ago that told me my wheels were finally hear. I was sooooooo excited that I decided to take a ride down to the wheel shop where I thought they were located. I get there, and the guy tells me he has absolutely no idea about my order. I later found out that I went to the wrong place (there's a bunch of tire places within a one block radius of each other, and they all include the words "discount tire" in them with a small variation to set them apart). The next day, after I find out the correct place, and I drive over their and get a look at my wheels. I'm extremely happy with the way they came out, and pictures should be posted some time on Saturday. So, as I'm walking out of the storage area, I ask the attendant if I could get a quick look at my tires. He says "sure," and I wait for a couple minutes. He then rolls out a Dunlop tire. I told him I had ordered a Bridgestone tire. He looked at me weird and said that my tires would be here tomorrow, and that they were Dunlops. They also had the size a little bit skewed. A 245/35/19 was on order while I had ordered a 235/35/19. The guy was cool about it and we got it straightened out in a few minutes. So, while I'm sure a bunch of you think I'm lying about getting pics of these wheels on the forum (I can't blame you), I promise there will be some pics on here by the end of this weekend.
When I went in on Friday, the guy still had not ordered the right tires. finally, I think we got it straightened out. supposedly, the tires are supposed to coming in on tuesday.
man - w/ this saga still ongoing, the last thing u wanna do is **** 'em off & make the wait even longer...[:'(]
at least it was better than the first spot u went.

seriously. I mean, it really makes me wonder why this has been like this. but hey, hopefully by wednesday, this saga will come to an end. And, hopefully I'll be able to join a bunch of you guys at the SoCal GTG on the 25th. I have three other people that are interested. So, if we all make it, there will be four black Audis to add to the mix (1 1.8T B5, 1 1.8T B6, 1 3.0 B6, and an '06 A3). The guy in the A3 is my best buddy, and we're going down there together to get the wheels put on on wednesday (if all goes as planned).
