i am putting the right fluid in. I got it from the audi dealership and its like 12 bucks for a little bottle. Im hoping its a hose but i need to get it up the airr to check it out.

 

power steering cooler? not that im aware of ( as if it needs one )

 

Mine definately has one. I dont really understand why, though. It would make much more sense if it was an oil cooler.

 

lets think about that ( power steering cooler ) auto tranny cools through the radiator because its constant power which means heat and expansion butttt power steering doesnt go through that process on the Audi use vegetable oils which dont expand like ATF/DEXRON due to heat

 

simple answer is why does power steering need cooling when its vented and used little on drives? fact is it doesn't need it

 

why on earth would audi put one in then, so far mine has only caused me headaches....
