lol glad you figured that out...
ORIGINAL: kmatsen1

woops, i might have been ahead of myself. engineers do that sometimes. so what actually controls the flow of air into the manifold is the speed at which it leaves. what controls the speed of air leaving the manifold is the volume it has to go into next. that would be the volume in the cylinders. so if the timing or compression ratio are not changed the amount of air into the cylinder is the same for either turbo. BUT when you start getting into high revs, the cfh of air goes up since the valves are opening and closing more times per minute.

so, a bigger turbo that produces more cfh of air can keep the boost at 20 psi longer.

so in the end, all i did was explain Audicross's answer in more detail. sorry Audicross

Ok let me explain my simple analigy.
2- cups with water one has the small straw (k03) the other with a larger straw (GTRS), then you as the "engine". You suck at lets say 5 vac on the small straw for 30sec. (i see this going the wrong way already lol) you will start to run out of steam and spit the water into a empty glass. Then repeat with the large straw. In the end the large straw gave you more water at the same vac and was easier to consume more on 1 breath.

Analogies using water will be tough since air is a compressable fluid and water is not.

how about, one straw has 1 hole in it and another straw has 2 holes. to keep the same pressure in both straws, you would have to blow harder in the one with 2 holes.

that sounds dirty.....
