hey guys, just wondering, every now and again my cluster flashes 2:00, and now it just started flashing 3:00?

No clue what that means?

 

I dont remember what it is but search it. I remember someone was talking about it before.

 

I am not 100% sure, but i think it got to do with driving 2hrs or more none stop. If you stop then it goes away or you can hit the reset button. I guess is a reminder that you been driving for 2hrs or more so pull over and take a break.

 

Yep it's just an annoying reminder to take a rest. All A4's have done it.

 

Yes, its a reminder of 2 hrs in drive. I guess there is a way you can change hour limit.

Yea, it'll do it every 2 hours. I've gotten mine to show 10:00 or 12:00 once on a cross country trip. And even shutting off the car won't help, unless you leave it off for a while. Because obviously I wasn't driving 10 hours with no fill ups. Just hit one of the up/down buttons to get rid of it.

 

You guys are my heros!! I just bought a 2001 A4 last night and went on a drive today to enjoy my new car. Low and behold that 2:00 started flashing and I started freakin out. Glad to know thats all it is!! Pays to do a little lookin around on these things.
