As I understand it, the passenger side mirror is smaller than the driver's side mirror to account for the extra 150-200 lbs. that's always present in the driver's seat. (Or am I full of crap?)

Smaller mirror on left side = less air drag to compensate for the unbalanced load on the right side = the car stays balanced.

Those Germans are crafty like ice is cold.

I've got the gimp mirror too. It doesn't bother me though...

Euro mirror, theres a lot of two way roads and since passing is always on the left, there really isnt much need for a right side mirror, so they give you the nemo fin mirror haha. I was going to replace mine with a normal sized mirror, but you quickly realize the small mirror is adequate.
