Starting yesterday i have been noticing some wierd things going on with my car when i turn it off. first there is some resistance when i turn the ignition to the all the way to the off position in order to take the key out. Its not like i have to force it really hard but definately a change from normal. then when i open my door to get out, the chime noise comes on like when you leave your keys in the ignition. lastly when i go to lock the car the normal chirp from the horn saying the alarm is on doesnt happen. oh its a 96 A4 2.8 Q by the way. any help would be greatly appreciated, i really have no clue whats going on. oh and the turn signals wont work sometimes while im driving the car. wierd.

 

Sounds like the electrical portion of your ignition swith is bad.

 

Sounds like the ignition switch is starting to go. Try some WD-40. It can't hurt, but it probably wont help.
