Windshield washer pump? 2000 A4 2.8
Hi. New here, glad I found this place.
My fiancee has a 2000 A4. It sure spits out a lot of expensive parts! Part of the reason no doubt is that it only has 58K on it, lots of short thermal cycles in urban conditions. She's always maintained it by the book but that hasn't stopped it from hurling parts all the time. I looked at her receipts and it's on it's 3rd radiator. My favorite is when the thermostat stuck open last winter. $450 labor to replace a $35 part. Dumb.
ANYWAY, the windshield washer pump just stopped working. It was never run without fluid in it, it simply stopped working. It shares a fuse with the wipers which work, so it isn't that. Is this an easy fix I can do without a manual, or should I visit my local (and very busy) independent Audi repair shop?
Thanks!

Pull out the driver's side headlight assembly and look down, you should see both washer pumps there, dis-connect the connector and check for voltage at the pump with someone activating the switch.
