Winter Blades?
Update:
They work good, a heck of a lot better than the factory ones with the open frame where the ice builds...
I'd give them7 on my car...
I also outfitted a Camry and the windshield is a little flatter and wider and they clean perfect.

My car went great with snow tiresin the storm the other night here in NE but my wiper blades could not handle the weather.
They clogged up so bad I had to stop many times to clean them off just to last minutes before they loaded up again.
One stop I banged the wiper on the windsheild and sent a piece of the drivers hold down wing flying!...
I called Dover NHAudi world (Dover auto world)and they told meAudihas not offered winter blades in years.
Does anyone know of a great winter blade for my car?
Thanks
Jeff

I feel for ya man, my buddy with his Volvo lost his "Driverside wiper" in that storm and his used his snow brush to wipe the glass from inside the car....talk about roadhazzard!
Ifyou go to NAPA here's there part number for the Teflon Winterwipers:

Bosch Icons
Or Trico Neoforms, but I suggest Bosch.
Something with a piece of spring steel instead of hinges so there's nothing to fill up or freeze.
The "winter" blades are super stiff and don't conform to the windshield well, but they don't get filled as easily.
Another benefit to the more expensive blades is more rubber content versus more vinyl content, which means they'll last longer in the extremeconditions.

Today is test day as we're getting a pretty good storm so I'll report back how they work.

yuppers; Bosch Icons rule! I can't put Trico or Anco on German car when there's a German company, Bosch, making a superior product for a superior car. Same goes for my tires: I prefer to keep the Continentals on my ride (the SportContact 3's are amazing tires). When I can keep it German, I prefer to do so. Good for me.

I'm a little weary about the flashy slim design as it may not with stand the nasyNewEnglandstormsas opposedto what youdo not getin theLA area.
The NAPA/Tricos are working great but they do not have an anti-lift feature.

New Update:I had to bring back one of my winter wipers to NAPA as a plastic clip broke.NAPAand Autozone carry Icons... the zone is $19.89I inquired about Icons and the Trico NeoForms...pretty much the same design...Beam Blade. The owner told me he and the localBMW / Benz dealer sent the Icons back as the rubber wiper might as well have been made from tissue paper. He say's in short time they leave lines behind.....it made me think about the Bosch Micro Edge I had on my other car and they were like that.He went on to say all his plow trucks run the NeoForms now and they work awsome. He exchanged my winter blades for the NeoForms.....I drove from the store back home in a snow storm..about 15 miles....So far they work great! not a sound and they wipe 100%
